9th Annual Kegler 2008 Classic Handicap Tournament
Rules:
  1. This Tournament shall be sanctioned and open to all members of USBC.  The tournament shall operate under the RULES of USBC.
  2. Non-USBC members may enter the Tournament by paying an unattached membership fee of $21.00 ($10.00 National, $10.00 Local and $1.00 State).
  3. The tournament will run for two weekends beginning August 30, 2008 and ending September 7, 2008 @ 7:00 pm. Additional squads may be added during the course of the tournament if lanes are available; however no squads will be added after the final squad and closing date of the tournament will be September 7, @7:00pm.
  4. This is a doubles and singles tournament. The entry fee is $30.00 per event (Doubles or Singles). Doubles consist of 2 bowlers but the 2 bowlers can not have both have a average of 200 or more. If one bowler has an average of 230 and the other is 199 they may bowl together. Bowlers may bowl as many times as they wish but may cash only once with the same partner. During your first doubles event your doubles score will be used as your singles score. After your initial entry you may bowl either doubles and/or singles. You may bowl with multiple partners during any time at a cost of $20.00 per event. Singles consist of a male and a female division.
  5. Handicap will be 90% of 210. All entrants must use the highest USBC 2007-2008 season yearbook average with a minimum of 39-games. If no book average, use highest current USBC sanctioned average based on a minimum of 39-games as of the start date of participation in this tournament.  Participants without a yearbook average must present league-standing sheet to tournament director prior to bowling in this tournament with minimum of 39-games or will bowl scratch (210). If your current average is ten pins higher (39-games or higher) than your 2007-2008-yearbook average or present league-standing sheet average at time of participation you must use the highest average. If no average; then bowlers must bowl scratch (210) in accordance with Rule 319b.  All prize funds will be returned 100% within 30 days after the close of the tournament. All winners averages will be VERIFIED before pay out.
  6. It shall be the Bowler's responsibility to verify the accuracy of his/her average. Failure to use the correct average shall disqualify score if submitted average is lower. There will be no return of entry fee/fees on DISQUALIFICATIONS. If you have been re-rated to a higher average then you must use your re-rate average.
  7. All teams will bowl three games on the same pair of lanes with total pins plus handicap deciding the tournament winners.
  8. Itemized entry fee per bowler when bowled separate doubles/singles: $18.00 prize fund, $12.00 expense. Total $30.00 per bowler. Prize fee will be returned 100%. Prize money will be paid on a ratio of 1:10 after 75 entries. Entrants must pay their entry fee ($60.00 per Doubles Team) before beginning competition. THIS IS A CASH ONLY TOURNAMENT, NO CHECKS.
  9. The tournament managers or directors reserve the right to reject any entry or re-rate any bowler. The decision of the tournament directors shall be final unless an appeal in accordance with rule 329, however if the re-rate average is not accepted by the bowler the entry fee shall be refunded.

Attention Bowlers: USBC rule 319d tournament prize winning provision will not apply.

Format:
No two 200 or above average bowlers may bowl together.
But if one is a 199 average and the other is a 200 or more they may bowl together.
