Prize Fund:
$1,000.00 Guaranteed for first place doubles.
Additional prizes will be paid out after the entry number for the payoff has been met.
1 for 10 thereafter.
Rules:
  1. Handicap will be 90% of 210 Scratch for men and women. (Maximum handicap of 45 pins per bowler)
  2. Entering Average::
    • All entrants must use their highest Last Years USBC year book average of 35 games or more. Entrants without the above number of games for an average must bowl SCRATCH 210.
    • If an entrant has a current average at the time of bowling that is 10 pins or more higher than the previous season's average, the current average must be used. Current standing sheet from bowling league needs to be provided.
    • Failure to use the correct average or make corrections prior to the completion of the 1st game of any series shall disqualify score if average used is below actual average. If higher average is used, prizes will be based on that average.
    • It is the bowler responsibility to provide proof of average---year book, league standing sheets, etc. It is also the bowlers responsibility to check the correctness of their average prior to bowling.
    • Bowlers have until the end of the first game for average corrections.
  3. THIS IS A DOUBLES TOURNAMENT with Optional Singles. The entry fee is $60.00 per team for doubles and $10.00 for Singles. During your doubles event, your doubles score will be used as your single score. You may bowl with multiple partners at a cost of $15.00 per extra doubles. Re-entries are permitted. Bowl as often as you wish but you can only cash once with the same partner. To cash more then once, one team member must be changed. For SINGLES, A bowler can only cash once in the prize list for position standings. You may re-enter singles as often as you bowl Doubles with a fee of $10.00. After you have bowled doubles once, you may bowl singles only for a fee of $20.00. After the guaranteed doubles have been met the remaining entries will be paid out on total entries. Singles will be divided into male and female divisions. MALE and/or FEMALE PBA bowlers or cardholders, ARE NOT PERMITTED TO bowl together.
  4. All teams will bowl three games on the same pair of lanes with total pins plus handicap deciding the tournament winners. (There may be 2 - 4 teams on a pair of lanes)
  5. THE TOURNAMENT MANAGER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY ENTRY OR RE-RATE ANY BOWLER PRIOR TO BOWLING. If the re-rated average is not accepted by the bowler, the entry fee shall be refunded. If the bowler has been re-rated in any tournament, the re-rated average will be used in this tournament. Failure to notify tournament officials prior to bowling will result in disqualification.
  6. PRIZE FUND IS GUARANTEED FOR FIRST PLACE DOUBLES ONLY. Additional prizes will be paid out after the entry number for the payoff has been met. A position will be paid at least (1) one for each ten (10). All cash prizes will be awarded on handicap bases. In case of tie, prize money will be combined and distributed equally. Prize fund returned 100%.
  7. The Tournament Manager or Directors will have the final decision on any and all disputes.
  8. This is a CASH ONLY tournament. No Checks will be accepted.
  9. Squads may be added on Saturday October 25th , 2008. NO SQUADS WILL BE ADDED TO THE 7 PM SQUAD ON SUNDAY October 26TH 2008. All prizes will be awarded after the last squad on Sunday October 26th, 2008 at 7pm
  10. USBC RULE 319a (Average adjustment requirements the 10 pin rule) will apply to participants.
  11. All other USBC rules will apply.
  12. DCBC tournament is guaranteed but if a tournament is postponed cancelled or shortened due to inclement weather or damage to the bowling center or other circumstances beyond the tournament Director's control, the tournament will be based on entries.

Saturday: 3:00pm, 4:00pm, 5:00pm, 6:00pm,7:00pm and 8:00pm
Sunday: 3:00pm, 4:00pm, 5:00pm, 6:00pm and 7:00pm
